The London Stadium awaits yet another exciting clash as the Hammers host Crystal Palace on 20th September 2025 at 15:00. This match is crucial for both teams, with both looking to produce their best performance and climb up the Premier League table.
This season hasn’t started well for either side. Out of four games, Crystal Palace have won only one and drawn the other three. West Ham, meanwhile, are desperate for three points after their 3-0 humiliation against Spurs at this very ground. The hosts currently sit at the bottom of the table with three losses and one win from their opening four matches.

According to the stats, the Hammers have struggled against Crystal Palace, losing four of their last six Premier League encounters with the Eagles. West Ham are also winless in their last seven home league games (four defeats and three draws). The last time they lost four in a row at home was under Manuel Pellegrini in November/December 2019. Their defence has been a major weakness this season, conceding three or more goals in three of their four Premier League games so far.
Crystal Palace have enjoyed their visits to the London Stadium. The Eagles are unbeaten in their last six Premier League games at this venue (three wins and three draws) and could secure back-to-back away wins at West Ham in the competition for the first time since February 2015.

Away from home, Palace’s form has been impressive: they have lost just two of their last 17 away league matches (eight wins, seven draws), keeping 15 clean sheets during that run. Remarkably, their previous nine away clean sheets had come over a span of 51 games.
Team News:
West Ham: After his red card against Tottenham last weekend, Tomáš Souček begins a three-match suspension. That leaves the Hammers looking for a new midfield partner for James Ward-Prowse, with Soungoutou Magassa set to make his debut.
Crystal Palace: Fitness concerns remain over midfielder Adam Wharton and striker Eddie Nketiah, both doubtful for the trip to East London. Defender Chadi Riad, however, is set to return after recovering from a knee injury.
Predicted Lineups:
West Ham: Hermansen; Walker-Peters, Mavropanos, Kilman, Diouf; Magassa, Ward-Prowse; Bowen, Fernandes, Summerville; Paquetá.
Crystal Palace: Henderson; Richards, Lacroix, Guehi, Muñoz; Hughes, Lerma, Mitchell; Pino, Kamada; Mateta.
