Tottenham’s winless run in 2026 continued as they hosted London rivals Crystal Palace, who came into the game with only two wins in their last thirteen matches.
The game started with a disallowed goal in the 32nd minute after the visitors were able to break down Spurs’ high line. Evann Guessand found Ismaïla Sarr, who put the ball into the back of the net but was eventually deemed offside.
Two minutes later, Dominik Solanke got the hosts in front in the 34th minute after a corner-kick situation.

Archie Gray was able to squeeze a pass through to Solanke, who could not miss from close range.
Four minutes later, in the 38th minute, Micky van de Ven was sent off for a professional last-man foul on Crystal Palace forward Ismaïla Sarr, which directly resulted in a penalty for Palace.

In the 40th minute, Ismaïla Sarr calmly converted the penalty, sending Guglielmo Vicario the wrong way.
Palace Turn the Game Around Before Half-Time
Six minutes later, in the first minute of stoppage time, Adam Wharton played a through ball to January signing Jørgen Strand Larsen, who finished with a right-footed shot from the centre of the box.

In the seventh minute of first-half injury time, England international Adam Wharton recorded his second assist of the night after finding Ismaïla Sarr with another through ball, allowing the winger to grab his second goal of the match.
Second Half Lacked Action
The second half offered far fewer moments of action.
Brennan Johnson made his first appearance against his former club after leaving the North London side in January, but neither team was able to add to the scoreline as Palace managed the game effectively.

The defeat leaves Europa League champions Tottenham Hotspur in 16th place, just one point above the relegation zone.
Crystal Palace, meanwhile, move further away from danger and now sit 13th in the Premier League, ten points clear of the relegation zone and on course for a respectable mid-table finish.
