Real Madrid will be looking to grab their third win of the Champions League group stage as RB Leipzig are in Madrid to play at the Bernabéu.

Los Blancos are in 9th place as they welcome their German opposition following a 2-1 victory over Inter Milan and defeating AS Roma via a 4-3 victory.

The Red Bulls however, have had a tough start to this year's group stage only beating PSV and losing to Como leaving them in 23rd place.

Jose Mourinho's men enter this match following a 4-1 victory over Sevilla at the weekend leaving them 3rd in La Liga on 21 points 6 points behind first place Barcelona who are leading the pack.

Speaking on recent form the Portuguese manager said: “We’ve won three matches in a short span and played very well in the last one.”

He was asked further about Las Madristas chances in the Champions League which he said “It’s too early. Madrid, at this moment, doesn’t have the goal of winning the Champions.”

Under Xabi Alonso last season Los Blancos finished in 11th place in the group stage before being knocked out in the quarterfinal by Vincent Kompany’s Bayern Munich.

Tonight sides have met four times in the Champions League with the home side winning twice whilst Leipzig have won once with a draw being shared between the two sides.

Martin Demechelis enters this game following his sides 6-1 thrashing away at the hands of the German Champions Bayern Munich leaving them in seventh place in the Bundesliga on 9 points.

Las Madristas will be without Rodrygo and Raul Ascencio but cover will be provided for them by new signing Yan Dioamande who is set to start against his former side and Ibrahim Konate providing cover in defence.

Antonio Nusas four goals and three assists in 9 games should carry great form into tonights match.

Real Madrid and France number 9 Kylian Mbappe has 11 goals in 11 appearances and will lead the attack tonight again.
