The final day of another entertaining Premier League season sees champions Liverpool host Crystal Palace at Anfield.
With both teams fresh from winning England’s two biggest domestic prizes, this match could be as entertaining off the pitch as it is on it.
Fans from both clubs have been hinting at a party atmosphere in the stands, with even some suggesting Palace should bring their FA Cup trophy to Anfield so the two teams can do a joint trophy lift.
Since clinching their second Premier League title a few weeks ago over Tottenham, Liverpool are yet to register another victory.
After disappointing losses to Chelsea and most recently Brighton, the Reds will be looking to finish their season on a high.
Pictures and videos of Liverpool players — and even manager Arne Slot — on holiday have been circulating on social media.

The home side are due a well-deserved break once the season officially ends. Still, everyone at Anfield will want to lift the trophy after a win.
Liverpool will be without Alexis Mac Allister, with Slot confirming the midfielder needs a rest after an excellent campaign. Conor Bradley is expected to start at right-back again ahead of Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is set to leave the club this summer.
All eyes will be on FWA Footballer of the Year, Mohamed Salah.

The league’s top scorer is chasing another record: the most goal contributions in a Premier League season. Salah needs just two more to surpass the joint record of 47 held by Alan Shearer and Andy Cole.
Can Palace Extend Their Impressive Form?
Unbeaten in their last seven matches in all competitions, the Eagles are looking to record another positive result.
Unlike their opponents, Palace didn’t rest after winning the FA Cup — they came from behind to beat Wolves 4–2. The away side will be eager to attack this Liverpool team, who have conceded eight goals in their last three matches.

FA Cup-winning goalscorer Eberechi Eze is expected to continue his fine form. However, Palace do have some injury concerns.
Adam Wharton will likely miss the trip to Anfield after suffering a concussion in the cup final. Club captain Marc Guehi is also a doubt after an eye injury kept him out of the game against Wolves earlier this week.
What to Expect at Anfield
Liverpool will need to raise their level if they hope to end their season on a winning note. But with both teams in good spirits, the game is set to be entertaining.
Neither side has much to play for, apart from Palace, who can still secure a top-half finish.
In recent years, the fixture has been a low-scoring affair.

Only one match between the two has produced more than three goals since 2022, while three of the last four head-to-head clashes have featured one goal or fewer.
Will Liverpool sign off their spectacular season in style, or can Crystal Palace upset the odds and dampen the Anfield atmosphere once again?
