Spurs head to Craven Cottage on Sunday as the only Premier League side without a win in 2026. Meanwhile, Fulham will be looking to complete a Premier League double over Spurs for just the second time in their history, having beaten them 2-1 in the reverse fixture.

Marco Silva’s side currently sit 10th, just three points below Brentford in seventh, with 11 games remaining. Fulham will be hoping to secure a European place for the first time since their run to the UEFA Europa League final in 2010.

With favourable March fixtures against struggling sides such as West Ham (H), Nottingham Forest (A) and Burnley (H), Fulham can build serious momentum in their push for Europe if they overcome Spurs.

Sandwiched between those league fixtures is an FA Cup Fifth Round tie against Championship side Southampton. That presents a promising opportunity for a consecutive FA Cup quarter-final appearance and potentially a hugely successful season if European qualification is also secured.

Spurs in Crisis Mode

Igor Tudor stated that Spurs must change their “bad habits” following a disappointing 4-1 home defeat to arch-rivals Arsenal, but remained “certain” that the club will avoid relegation.

The desperation for a win is clear as Spurs attempt to galvanise a depleted squad and prevent their season from spiralling further. Tudor questioned the squad’s mentality, and recent performances offer little reassurance.

Spurs sit just four points above the relegation zone, and Craven Cottage has proven a difficult venue for visitors this season.

Although Tottenham have historically enjoyed success against Fulham, their last away win at Craven Cottage came in 2023 via a Harry Kane strike. Since then, Spurs have suffered heavy defeats at this ground, with an aggregate scoreline of 5-0.

Fulham will aim to build on their impressive 3-1 away win at Sunderland and capitalise on a Spurs side short on confidence. What once felt like a joke among Spurs supporters the possibility of relegation post-Harry Kane now feels alarmingly real.

Match Prediction

Spurs must show significantly more fight and resilience than they have in London derbies this season if they are to overcome a well-organised Fulham side enjoying a steady campaign.

Tudor’s second game as interim manager sees Spurs hovering precariously above the drop zone, and doubts remain about whether he can halt the slide.

Fulham’s occasional inconsistency could offer Spurs a lifeline, and even a draw would represent progress. However, expectations favour the hosts claiming all three points and extending Spurs’ winless run to ten games.

It is difficult to look beyond a Fulham victory raising an increasingly urgent question for Spurs: where will their survival points come from?

Team News

Marco Silva may receive a double boost ahead of the derby, with Samuel Chukwueze and Sasa Lukic both potentially available following injury absences.

Winger Kevin is also a doubt after picking up an injury against Sunderland, though there has been no official update on his condition.

For Spurs, Igor Tudor confirmed Pedro Porro and Kevin Danso have returned to training and may be in contention to start. Destiny Udogie remains sidelined, while Cristian Romero serves the penultimate match of his suspension.

Up front, Dominic Solanke could return after missing the North London Derby due to illness, while Richarlison is also pushing for a starting spot.

Predicted Line-ups

Fulham:

Leno; Tete, Andersen, Bassey, Sessegnon; Berge, Iwobi; Wilson, Smith Rowe, Bobb; Jimenez

Spurs:

Vicario; Porro, Danso, Palhinha, Van de Ven, Spence; Gallagher, Gray; Xavi Simons; Solanke, Kolo Muani
