The Eagles come to Craven Cottage this Sunday, as Crystal Palace take on Fulham in this London Derby, where both sides come in with optimism.

Off the back of an exhilarating 4–5 loss on the weekend, Fulham will look to amend their loss to Manchester City and continue their spell of good form as of late. Marco Silva’s side come into this one with 3 wins in their last 5, and now have got themselves out of relegation talk, sitting 5 points clear of West Ham, who are in 18th.

As for Glasner’s side, a good win at Turf Moor midweek meant that Palace climbed to European spots, currently sitting 5th, and their sights are set on an even more impressive campaign than last season.

As for the head-to-head, Crystal Palace are in good stead, winning their last two games against Fulham, both at Craven Cottage, keeping clean sheets in both. The last game these two played was the FA Cup quarter-final back in March, with Palace comfortably winning 3–0, which ultimately led to the Eagles’ historic FA Cup win last season.

In fact, Fulham haven’t beaten Crystal Palace at home since January 2005, managing three draws and three losses in that time against the Eagles. But Fulham will be encouraged by the fact that Palace haven’t won consecutive London derbies since 2017 (vs Chelsea and Arsenal), following Palace’s 2–0 win against Brentford in their last London Derby.

But Sunday could be a battle of attack vs defence, following Fulham’s thrilling game midweek, scoring four goals, they have scored 10 in their last five matches. Whereas Palace have the joint-best defence in the league this calendar year, with the most clean sheets in 2025 (14), alongside Arsenal and Manchester City.

Key players coming into this game are definitely Samuel Chukwueze, as he came off the bench on Wednesday and scored two goals, almost clawing back his team for a draw. The Nigerian loanee leads Fulham’s charts in both big chances created and shots on target. The Fulham forward also has a historic record currently, with the best minutes per goal involvement of any player in the Premier League (with min. 200 mins), averaging just 46 minutes per goal involvement as he stands at two goals and three assists so far.

Daniel Munoz will be the player Glasner looks to on Sunday, with the defender netting the winner on Wednesday night against Burnley. That goal puts his tally at seven since the start of last season, and he has the most goals of any Premier League defender in that time frame. Jean-Philippe Mateta will also be counted on, but his record against Fulham isn’t the best, as he is yet to score a Premier League goal against the Cottagers, with this Sunday being his sixth league game against them.

Injury issues for Oliver Glasner keeps Ismalia Sarr sidelined still after he was forced off against Manchester United, but Borna Sosa could make a return to the matchday squad after his spell out. For Marco Silva, left-back Antonee Robinson, who was a standout last season with 10 assists, will likely miss Sunday’s game, as well as Rodrigo Muniz who is still out with a thigh injury.

For Glasner, this game is a big one in the hopes for his ambitions of European football to be respected, and Palace to be seen as real competitors this season. But for Fulham, a win here could really secure their safety, as the Cottagers could yet still be pulled in a relegation dogfight, which is not something Marco Silva is used to hearing as Fulham boss.

The game is available to watch on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Football and NOW TV. This Sunday, at Craven Cottage at 16:30 UK time.
