Chelsea grabbed all three points today at the Hill Dickinson following a double from Pedro Neto.

It was not a perfect game for Blues boss Xabi Alonso as new signing and Argentina goalkeeper Emi Martinez was stretchered off after clashing heads with Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite.

The Argentine international was replaced by Belgian Penders, 21 who made his premier League debut.

At the time of writing there is still no news on Emi Martinez who has been sent to hospital.

Heading into todays match day David Moyes’ men team alongside Brentford and Manchester City were the only teams unbeaten , however Pedro Netos brace and Brentford falling to Liverpool at home meant Manchester City were the only side to stay unbeaten.

Neto was outstanding in todays game, with Chelsea rampant with a 1.54 xG and 18 shots against the Toffees 6.

The Portuguese showed great composure when slotting in his second goal past England's shot-stopper, Jordan Pickford, following a Jordan Henderson free kick.

Chelsea, for large parts of the match, were in control, with Moises Caicedo providing both control of the tempo and breaking up play, whilst also providing support just off the opposition box with a thunderous volley crashing onto the Evertonian crossbar.

A duo which seems to be developing well together is Morgan Rogers alongside Cole Palmer.

Both England internationals linked up play between them and Palmer provided a chance for the PFA young player of the year who lopped the ball onto the roof of the home sides net.

A major flashpoints according with shirts being grabbed, pushes and heated languages and five yellow cards alone with the home side demanding a second yellow for Morgan Rogers who clattered into James Garner

Chelsea have now secured their first clean sheet since January 17th , an appalling state for a team of their size and given the money they have spent , the Blues fans will demand greater defensive stability.

Everton did test Emi Martinez on a couple of occasions with a handful of shots on target and five attempts on target.

The most notable Everton chance was Thierno Barry's close-range header which was straight at Martinez.

However, after this David Moyes men did not show much of their first half positivity and fight and seemed to loose their intensity following the fist Chelsea goal.

For Chelsea, it is a clean sheet , an overall solid performance which moves them into fourth against a tough to beat Everton team.

But only time will tell how much they will miss their Argentine shot stopper.

The Toffees however are left outside the top 5 in seventh with positives to take but todays game reflected their need for a consistent goal scorer.
