World Cup season has begun, and England face Andorra at Villa Park on Saturday evening (17:00 kick-off).
Thomas Tuchel’s side have made a perfect start to qualifying, sitting top of Group K with three wins from three along with three clean sheets to match. The group also contains Albania, Serbia, Latvia, and Andorra.
The reverse fixture back in June was far tighter than predicted, with England edging to a 1–0 victory rather than dismantling their opponents as many had expected.
This time around, England are missing several key names. Bukayo Saka, Cole Palmer, Jude Bellingham, and Levi Colwill are all out injured, while Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jack Grealish were left out.

John Stones reported for duty but has since departed due to minor muscular issues, with Tuchel insisting he “will not take risks against Andorra or Serbia.” Everyone else is fit and available.

Elliot Anderson, Jarell Quansah, and Djed Spence could win their first England caps, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been recalled to the England squad for the first time in seven years.
The visitors sit bottom of the group and are winless in their last five fixtures, though qualification remains mathematically possible.
For England’s captain, this match also marks a milestone: Harry Kane is set to win his 108th cap, drawing level with Bobby Moore in fifth place on the all-time men’s appearances list.
England will aim to continue their winning streak, while Andorra seek their first win of the qualifiers.
